Every job moves through the same four stages. Nothing is handed off, and nothing gets rushed at the step that decides how the coating wears.

01 Preparation
The finish is won before the powder
Every surface has to be clear of impurities before anything is sprayed. Depending on the item that means sanding, cleaning or abrasive blasting. The success of the whole process rests on this step.

02 Electrostatic spray
A dry powder, electrically charged
A solvent free dry mix of plastic resins, pigment and fillers is given an electrostatic charge and sprayed onto the surface of the item. The charge is what makes the powder wrap and hold evenly.

03 Oven cure
Heat turns powder into a coating
The item goes into a hot oven, which causes a chemical reaction. The powder melts and flows out into a single continuous film. This is the moment loose powder becomes a beautiful finish.

04 The finish
Durable, smooth, built to last
In a basic sense, the process ensures the most durable, smooth finish available. It is why powder coating outlives wet paint on gates, fabrication, wheels, furniture and architectural metalwork.

Powder Coating can be used on any object or item that holds an electrostatic charge and can withstand the heat of the oven. That covers most of what comes through the roller door.
